How to start a LiveCode stack without running scripts?

One thing you can do is make your script check the environment before 
running:

     if the environment = "development" then
         -- don't run
     else
         -- run
     end if

But a simpler way is to do what someone else already said: in the IDE, 
suppress messages before opening the stack.
