Do we have to care about Windows RT?

"officially supported" means, I think, that those are the only apps that Microsoft will put their resources into updating and trouble-shooting. Does it really also mean you can't run other apps? The only apps that Apple "officially supports" are the native Mac apps, but that doesn't mean you can't run Firefox. Or LC.
