This is rather fun:

put the systemVersion accurately reflects the Windows version

WINE is set up to imitate.

For "XP" it yields NT 5.1  as per documentation.

and for "8" it yields NT 6.2, but as the documentation for

RR/LC 4.5 doesn't stretch that far (and, one would suppose, it has
been updated since then) I don't know how accurate that it.
