I agree with Richard. For On-Rev and Livecode to be considered a truly
professional service, secure connections are a must-have.

After several hacking incidents at *Dreamhost* I switched over to SFTP,
updated Wordpress and Gallery2, and changed my control panel and SFTP
password and I've had no more hack problems. DH has also been proactive in
helping me 'clean' my many sites with bots that furnished lists of problem
files and in some cases moved them to a folder outside the web area. They
are now offering a secondary password scheme that uses 'Google Passwords'.
More on that later after I've given it a try.

Transmit (commercial FTP client) has a nice feature when one is using SFTP:
one can send a single SSH command from inside the SFTP connection -  like
zip and unzip - saving a trip to the terminal for these oft-used tasks.
