Help with API Methods

Greetings,

 I need some help to become fluent in maintaining and writing API methods in C# which will access data in a Microsoft Sequel Server standard edition database.  I'm working in Visual Studio 2010.  I envision working with somebody fluent in these areas via Webex sessions for about an hour a day for at least a month at which time our work could go in any number of different directions.  Anybody interested/available?
