outerGlow color differs by Win OS

Hello list.

On XP and Win98 the outerGlow color of objects is blue, as I'd set them.

On Vista, it's red. Exact same stack, though. And to make the color blue, I must reset outerGlow color by choosing what on the palette appears as red but which on the stack becomes blue.

Could someone explain why?

I tried different blendmode and filter settings but no go.

Using LC 4.6.1.
