Neat idea.

After a quick bit of searching, this was added to the SDK with OS3 - so it's possible, but I've no idea if it's possible with Rev.

For example: the app records the title & artist of the currently playing track to a text file on the iPod, along with the data I would like to add/modify. When connected to the Mac, an AppleScript could process that text file to make the changes to the corresponding track(s) in iTunes.
