I don't know what platform your standalone is made for; but I have
had a problem in the past with standalones for Mac where the stack
size is set to the same screen resolution: the dock seems to interfere
and cut off quite a lot of the bottom of the stack. When the dock is set
to autohide the problem disappears.

I have had a similar problem with Cairo Dock and Avant Navigator
in Linux.

Oddly enough; multiple panels in GNOME are successfulyy masked
by RunRev standalone and don't chew off bits of the standalone's
real estate.
