combining sound files

Scott,
Have you tried Ambrosia's WireTap?

Mind you, the last time *I* tried it (or maybe it was Snapz), the WAV file
it produced was entirely incompatible with Rev (I think Trevor and Scott
Rossi confirmed this).

What about QT Pro and then export to AU/AIFF/WAV/whatever?
