OT: Where are Proxy Settings on Mac stored?

Hello,

when you work with a proxy on Win, the Proxy settings, like "ProxyEnable",
"ProxyServer" are stored in the registry.

Where are these informations stored on the Mac and how to read them?

Btw. If you need a authentication on the proxy, I didn't found registry keys
for these informations. Does anybody knows, where they are stored on
Win/Mac?
