Delete column

Categorize this under "gee I wish I could..."

Have you ever wished you could delete a column of values in a list? I  
looked for a way to do it using arrays but alas no dice.

I know I can use a repeat loop. I just wish I could say "delete item 2  
of every line of myList". Seems like it ought to be a fairly simple  
thing to do in the engine.
