I can't see how to set up a table field so that it does the behavior you're talking about, so I can't try to test a fix for the problem. But one thing you could do is set the doubleClickInterval to something small (say 10). That way the person would have to double click incredibly fast (two clicks within 1/100th of a second) to introduce the issue.
