Funnily enough, I gave up web development a few years ago.  I drank the
kool-aid on css, and was doing Ajax with netWindows before the word 'Ajax'
was invented (Alex Russell was the main man behind netWindows, now the main
man behind DoJo).  IMO Web development is the biggest hack since DOS memory
expansion.
