2.9 within bug?

Please ignore my last post. I was a bit hasty.  Yes, it's confirmed, but 
it conforms to the description here and is not in any way critical.  I 
my pre-coffee state I was confusing "is within" with "is in", which 
would be an altogether different matter.

Sorry to contribute to confusion.
