revFontLoad returns "couldn't load font"

Trevor,

In the old days, Mac fonts each had a unique ID, and if there was  
already a font on the system with the ID number of a font you were  
adding, it would cause strange problems. I don't know if OS X still  
uses this model, but it may be worth checking into.
