Determine current internet proxy settings on OS X?

Hi,

I'm trying to detect the current internet proxy settings on OS X so  
users do not have to manually configure my application. I came across  
the API call which I could access with an external  
(SCDynamicStoreCopyProxies ) but I'm wondering if anyone knows a shell  
call that can be used?
