Hello Marielle,

Its main focus was on a crash.  It does mention the strange grey  
dots, but may not get proper notice.  I think your post is important  
to get their attention on that bug.  I have seen the grey dotted line  
thing on both Macs and Win systems.  I have also seen that when  
flipping 10 images that have a resolution of 1800 x 1200 and  
displaying/hiding them quickly, Rev 2.8 gm3 crashes.  I am working on  
a full recipe for this.
