Number of chars in a line limit?

Hi Paul, Kenji,

I am in fact using uniencoded text so perhaps that is my problem. I wonder
if it is a particular character or simply the number? The 10,000 I noted was
not an exact count but it refers to the SJIS character count, not the
unicode char count.
