Quite possibly, but not exclusively.

At the moment I'm more interested in the larger superset of customers
who have any USB device running any platform. While some aspects of U3
are attractive, the biggest attraction with our customers is portability
in general. Since Rev has always made it easy to deliver fully
self-contained apps, running from any removable device or the hard drive
is just a matter of installing differently (no registry entries if
installed on USB).

It may be useful to use some conventions for storing the app and data
files on the USB drive, so some of us got together to discuss this in a
working group we lightheartedly call "U4":

Many of our customers use Macs at home but work in Windows-only
environments. With Rev we can deliver portability on any generic USB
device easily to support that workflow by just installing apps for both
Mac and Win and even Linux, however the user wants.

If we find that the co-marketing benefit of U3 more than makes up for
adhering to their specs, we may also make some of our apps for that more
specialized audience (which is the where this poll comes in).
