Do you mean that if you use:

global gConID
     put fld "bookingid" into tbooking
put "UPDATE Booking SET ticket = 'no' WHERE BookingId = '" & tBooking  
& "'"  into
tSQLbooking
    --> EXECUTE SQL
    put revdb_execute(gConID,tSQLbooking)

it doesn't work? I've used this approach lots of times successfully.  
What error message do you get back?
