Enhancement 1186 has two parts.

The first is to keep edges smooth for pictures with alpha edges.

The second is to keep the picture edge smooth (to use alpha).

Are you saying the second is here, but the first is not?

(Was it wimpy of me to make this a suggestion rather than a bug?)
