Wanted: Insights on implementing continuations. (Related to web frameworks)

I will try to give you a more REv-specific answer at some point, but I
wonder if you've encountered this  information in your searching. The only
familiarity I have with continuations is through my exploration of seaside.
It seems to me it may be hard or impossible to execute without
multithreading.
