Smart card reader

On Mac OS X :


I'm trrying to connect to a card reader to view the Belgian  
Electronic ID card. There is no wiewer for mac.
So I'm trying to get a connection and read from the card in Revolution

I've installed the driver for the reader and when I type in the  
terminal :

/usr/local/bin/belpic-tool -a
I get the message that I'm connected to the card reader but cannot  
read the card.

Is there a way to connect to such a reader and view what's on the  
card from revolution ?
