MYSQl client: "Client does not support authentication protocolrequested by server

check the connection,
check the port is open
check your server address
check server is running and accepting calls
check everything...

no other solution other than learning how it works...

can you be more explicit regarding how you connect maybe?

OS, versions helpful too (you did mention the rev version ;)
