Best way to ask the user to wait?

Hi Graham,

you could display an 'invisible button' over the top of your card which 
would limit interactions along with an animated gif of some kind.

I typically have a status bar along the bottom of my apps, which says 
something like: "downloading file, please wait..." along with a nice 
marching ants animation and the invisible button.
