Trouble with HTTPS certificate (getting worse...)

Andre,

I know very little about the subject, but I'll take a stab in case it 
helps.
Could it be that the certificate of the site you are _contacting_ is 
invalid? Can you try connecting to a different site? Can your browser 
connect to that site without any warnings / errors?
