This is very off any thread, but here goes.

At the weekend, I went to the Cornerhouse Galleries, in Manchester
(England). There are currently three installations, all of which have
image/IT themes.

One, by Charles Sandison, is a bare room with projectors filling the
walls and ceiling with words such as male, female, mother, father,
threat, dead, food, child,. The words moved around 'behaving' and
changing their behaviour, depending on their encounters with other
words. For example, after 'Male' and 'Female' had hung out together
for a while, the would transform into 'Father' and 'Mother', the word
'mother' often moved around slowly, followed by a number of 'child'
words. Any word moving into a zone of jiggling 'threat' changed to
'dead'.

I continued to stare about me while my wife struggled to get me to
leave, and commented that I had obviously been lost in appreciation of
the art and its meaning. I had to confess......"well, no, actually I
was just trying to work out how I would script it"

A major component of the answer, is of course, custom properties!

If you are interested, take a look here

Cornerhouse!

Best Wishes,
