Chalk up another place where the docs need to be updated!  You are 
using Rev 2.5, right?

 From the documentation window, click on the "Objects" button, with the 
"Filter with:" field empty.  Expand "Objects", then "Scrollbar" on the 
left.  From there you can get the lists of properties and messages.

Look at the "thumbSize" and "thumbPosition" properties; not sure if 
these work for sliders or not, but offhand they seem to be the closest 
match.
