Are you on a Mac? The last time I checked (admittedly a while ago) the 
engine doesn't like Mac-style aliases very much, but does fine with 
Unix-style symlinks. I have a contextual menu I use to create real 
symlinks, or you can do it in Terminal.

If you are on Windows then it should work as-is.
