Better than tables, better than delimited lines?

Richard,

It is a graphical user system that uses 18 buttons to access 6,000 text 
items. I'll upload a version when it is working. Then you will see more 
of what it does.
The more I know the more I find I don't know. So a fresh start seems a 
good idea.
