Database access from NAT network

I realized I neglected to include the error revdb was returning: "Revdb 
Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query."

Thanks, Sarah and Len, for your suggestions. I'll check those out. It 
may be that the university is blocking port 3306. (though that wouldn't 
explain why I was able to connect twice.)
