Yes, I've been seeing this (in Google searches related to Python) for a 
while (and Dan mentioned it on the list in the last couple of days).

Sometimes I think it's a clever chance to catch potential users.

Most of the time, I think it's more likely to piss people off when they 
realize they've been subjected to the advertising equivalent of "bait 
and switch".
