QT->MP3?

MP3 is *NOT* a free audio format.  Software which produces MP3 files 
would be subject to additional royalty payments.  It is highly unlikely 
that Rev could add support for this, since it is likely that each copy 
of each standalone would need to pay royalties.

My guess is that this is why Apple is dropping support for MP3 (have 
not looked into this though, so I don't know for sure).

Can your client not change the requirements to use a different (free) 
audio format?  And why not just use QuickTime audio files?

You might also look at the Ogg Vorbis codec, or at least at the web 
site (http://www.xiph.org/ogg/vorbis/index.html).

Info on MP3 royalties are at mp3licensing.com; MP3 is covered by a 
patent and cannot be supported by a software application (for encoding 
or decoding) without a license.
