Well there is a new mini series coming out soon.  Essentially a few 
articles for the "complete beginner" like me.

The first one is a cracker, and I have to say slightly embarrassing for me 
to write because it is patronising, but it has to start somewhere. Pat one 
is making a csv in excel. Now I'm writing the make the runrev app from the csv.

I know this is very easy but it will hope fill the "starter" gap that exists.

I don't have a computer qualification and bought runrev because it seemed 
the easiest to understand and also because of the list. I was also 
interested because it will come in handy.

So I suppose I'm in the ideal position to give something back by writing 
about my stuttering attempts at application development.
