there is a window

If I open a sub-stack "history",  then type:

there is a window "history" -> true

If I close window "history", then type:

there is a window "history" -> true

But - windows() does not contain "history"
eg, (destroystack on close set to true)
put windows() contains "history"

I had assumed that "there is a window" would be the same as checking 
the window existed in windows(), but apparently not...
