dotted lines in windows around back layer button

Yes, turn off traversalOn for the button.

traversalOn may fix this as well. I think Windows is trying to focus on 
the first button so that you can "click" it by pressing Enter. It isn't 
really default. Turning off traversalON means that it can't be selected 
by keyboard, only by mouse.

I don't think it can be set from the Inspector. It is a system property 
that is read on startup and applied, but you can change it manually 
after that by scripting.
