revSpeak and Windows XP

Dear RunRev Afficionados,
   I put together a rather sophisticated stack yesterday:
I card with one button containing the script:

on mouseDown
   revSpeak "Hello"
end mouseDown

on my jolly Mac G4 when I clicked on the button the very
silly 'Dalek' speech synthesizer said 'Hello' - as one
would expect!!

moved the stack into my Virtual PC running Windows XP and
featuring an equally silly Dalek called "Microsoft Sam"

clicked button - NIX!

bright ideas all gratefully recieved!
