i've been on the road the past couple of days so I'm catching up here.

Here is the latest Poop from Group, as we used to say:

1. eBook is avaiallble ONLY by joining RevolutionPros.com. When you
join that community (prices range from $97/yr. to $197/yr.), you get
ALL THREE volumes of eBooks (but see below for a recent tweak),
participation in the community, a newsletter, and regularly posted
tips, hints, and tutorials on various topics. If you join at the $197
level, you get each chapter of the subsequent eBook volumes prior to
their publication, as they are released, for free. Of course you still
get the eBook volumes as they are published.

2. Hard copy is available directly from Revolution Press. My
understanding is that they are immediately available and shipping.

3. As a special promo for MacWorld only, I allowed RunRev to sell
copies of the first volume in eBook form for $37. That offer has now
expired.

4. During MacWorld, in discussions with Ro Nagey, Kevin Miller,
heather, and others, we decided to shift the publishing tactic
slightly. This is in addition to the current plan, not a replacement.
I'm going to release each chapter of the remaining volumes of the eBook
in electronic form first to the Leader-level members of the
RevolutionPros.com community, and then after further review and
production, to the entire Revolution world at a cost resembling $5 per
chapter. You can buy individual chapters on topics that interest you.
When we have accumulated enough chapters, we'll put them together into
an eBook and take that manuscript to print for hard-copy production. I
anticipate releasing about a chapter a week. The first one, on CGI,
will be released to the Leader group this week. Leader-level members
will also be given the chance to influence the order in which I produce
these additional chapters.

It's not clear yet whether RunRev can accommodate all the chapter-level
activity in terms of processing, so I may offer the individual chapters
through my site and handle the eCommerce myself. That's being worked
out right now.

I appreciate all the great comments and feedback on my Vol. 1. Stay
tuned for the rest of the story
