My pleasure. It's an Indian script and the Mac supports it. Today 
Devanagari is primarily used to write Hindi but many Sanskrit texts are 
now also printed in it. You can use it as well to  write middle Indian 
languages like Pali.

The anusvara is a fuzzy final nasal which looks like a dot put above the 
last syllable of a word.
