I tried it in both directions between RR 2.1.2 and 2.2. Worked okay both 
ways. Then I did the same with equivalent versions of the engine in the 
MC IDE and it worked both ways. Repeated it on both Mac OS 10.2.8 and 
Mac OS 10.3.2.

Must be a Windows thing.
