I'm really looking for the ability to apply paragraph level formatting 
on the fly - ie take some plain text, put it into a fld and then format 
it (indents, alignment, tabs etc on a paragraph by paragraph basis) 
through scripting. While not wanting to hold Director up as something 
to aspire to, I reckon it provides about the right level of text 
formatting control. And no, I don't need the user to be able to 
physically manipulate text formatted in this way.
