How to Show columns in Application Browser?

OK, that worked.. the problem was the default width of the column
headed "control" (last column on the right) was over 280 pixels or
so... enough such that control clicking and selecting a new column
seemed not to do anything... until I stretched the window really wide
and there they were, way off screen, similarly, if you then add a
column... e.g. "ID" and the new column is also added way off screen...
even though ID numbers were never more than 4 digits... The sudden
appearance of the horizontal scroll bar clued me in though... But Rev
team might want to set a default width for the last column in the
application browser to something more like 50 pixels...??
