Can't delete a standalone after running?

all this means is your app hasn't finished doing something
(i use to get this a lot with sockets, but now i'm wiser ;-)

all you need to do is bring up the task manager
("ctrl-alt-del" OR right-click the task bar and select it
from the menu), go to the "Processes" tab and find your
program, select it and click the "end process" button, click
"ok" on the dialog..
