Problem is...if you open something that goes into that area, like the bottom
of a browser window, you'll still see the DT image portion if you keep your
scrolling in front where you can see it. I've tried something similar and it
just looks wierd. The only thing that would work with this solution is to
push all other windows above the area in question (and resize them)..hard to
do with other applications, eh?

Everything Rev displays actually happens in a window, even windowShapes. But
displaying scrolling text as windowshapes won't work AFAIK.

I also can think of many uses for floating animated overlays, so if anyone
can come up with something, please get our attention.
