If you want it to:

There is a single stack property, rIPCMode, that determines whether 
the db calls are sent to a server app or run locally in single user 
mode [see the Library subStack, sdbIPCMode].  One mouse click (& an 
IP Address if switching to TCP/IP) is all it takes to convert a Rev 
standalone from single-user to client or vice versa.
