Ken,

Yes, I do need FileMaker. All the volunteers at the candidate's 
headquarters use  FMP to do the data entry etc.

I was just looking to AppleScript  to save me some steps. I confess, 
I am surprised that  AppleScript doesn't just return a tab/return (or 
comma/return) delimited text file instead of the rather strange curly 
brackets.
