You mean an icon for use on a button?

The icon of a button is just an image's ID number; you can use any image in
any loaded stack. So to import an icon, you just import the image (using
File menu > Import As Control > Image File), then check the ID of the new
image and set the button's icon property to that ID number.

(Often it's convenient to create a separate stack to hold your images,
where they're out of the way yet easy to access and change.)
