Scott, et al:

My meaning was a .exe is more universal within the Windows 
environment, just as a .sea is more universal within Mac OS than a 
.sit.

.exes should run on any windows box, .zips, as someone else posted 
may require version-specific expansion software.  Likewise for .seas 
vs .sits.
