Importing TIF graphics

Apparently, Rev doesn't support the TIF graphic format.

Does anyone know how to convert TIF files to any supported format through
scripting? Or can someone recommend a DOS-based tool to do this via shell
commands passed from Rev? This needs to work primarily in a PC running
Windows. Thanks.
