first, thanks for the compliment ^_^

second, i'm re-working the SMTP and POP3 sockets to use the "with message"
form of the write/read socket commands.. i am also tidying the code up a
little more and adding in error handling (sadly i think i'll have to break
backwards compatibility, but it should be worth it).. basically i'm trying
to bring my coding inline with the way RunRev has their external code
written (easy to use functions/handlers)

and finally, i also have an IMAPv4 socket in the works for anyone else who
may require that functionality..

i do apologize for this.. i took them offline when i re-did my website as i
was in the middle of also re-doing the sockets themselves.. personally i
just figured no-one had actually ever looked at them let alone used them..
new SMTP socket should be available within a week's time.. POP3 socket
should follow shortly behind..


currently i'm involved with matt denton (on this list 'hi matt' *waves*)
working a nice new project that should be of use to all us runrev users,
i'll post more as it progresses (shh for now matt ;-)
